Entry requirements

Your application requires you to submit the following:

  • Enrollment form
  • In less than 500 words, let us know why you would love to become a Relationship and Sexuality Coach.
  • In less than 500 words, let us know you personal history in relationships and sexuality.
  • Details of your past study and work experience.

Please note, there are no right or wrong answers in the reflective reports, we do not expect you to be ‘perfect’ in relationship and sexuality. All reports will remain confidential and only read by Andrew Barnes. Please email to contact/rzoenpr+njnxravatjvguva.bet+nh

Awakening Within reserves the right to refuse an application without the need to details reasons.

The courses do involve reading materials, which includes health and industry specific terminology. Consequently, learners will be required to keep neat, accurate written records in line with normal coaching practice.

Refund guidelines 

Refund guidelines for option A training fees:

  • If training fees are paid in full prior to the 17th June 2011, and a refund is requested before this date 50% of the $1995.00 deposit fee is not refundable, also a $100 admin fee will be incurred.
  • If training fees are paid in full and a refund is requested between the 17th June 2011 and the 1st July 2011, 100% of the $1995.00 deposit fee is not refundable, also a $100 admin fee will be incurred.
  • If training fees are paid in full and a refund is requested 6 weeks after the 1st July 2011, 100% of the $1995.00 deposit and 30% of the remaining training fees are not refundable, also a $100 admin fee will be incurred.
  • If training fees are paid in full and a refund is requested 6 weeks after the 1st July 2011, no refund is available, unless the learner can provide a medical certificate or show extreme personal hardship.
  • In the case of health issues where a medical certificate is provided or show personal hardship the $1995.00 deposit fee and the individual cost of home study subjects, seminars, courses, retreats, and individual coaching and mentoring that have already been completed are not refundable. 

Refund guidelines for option B training fees:

  • 50% of the $1995.00 deposit is not refundable before 17th of June 2011, also a $100 admin fee will be incurred.
  • After 17th June 2011 and before the 1st July 2011, 100% of $1995.00 deposit not refundable, also a $100 admin fee will be incurred.
  • Training fees once paid on the 1st of each month are not refundable.
  • Three months after the 1st July, deposit and course fees are not refundable and the completion of monthly payments until the 1st July 2011 regardless of continued participation or not in the training program.
  • In the case of health issues where a medical certificate is provided or show personal hardship the $1995.00 deposit fee and the individual cost of home study subjects, seminars, courses, retreats, and individual coaching and mentoring that have already been completed are not refundable. 

Recognition of Prior Learning

Given how unique this coaching program is, recognition of prior learning is not available (even if you have completed Awakening Within programs in the past). Although all past experience and previous study will definitely support your learning and practice.

Assessments

All learners will be required to demonstrate competency in throughout the coaching program. Assessment is based on assignment work, practical aptitude, class participation and learners attitude. Some training programs are delivered holistically and subjects may be clustered together into training programs to avoid repeat assessments.

Complaints and appeals

Awakening Within’s policy on complaints and appeals ensures respect for the rights and responsibilities for all. The policy and procedures allow you to obtain natural justice as a sovereign being. You have the right to make an appeal or lodge a grievance without penalty or reprisal of any form.

Client Support and Literacy

If you have any literacy and numeracy or learning problems, please tell us about these prior to enrolling so that we may assist you to be successful in your learning. We can give you a literacy and numeracy self-test to help you pinpoint where you need help. Completing work by distance or flexible learning does require you to become an independent learner. If you require help to keep up, we will support you so that you can achieve your goals. Should you or we feel that you require further support, we will assist you as much as we can.

Your Health

Practicing as a relationship and sexuality coach does require you to maintain a reasonable level of physical stamina and fitness. It would be wise to alert Awakening Within to any physical limitations you may have so that we can ensure that you are assisted to manage your own health needs during training.

If you have any doubts whether your condition would preclude you from undertaking the practical aspects of the course, you should discuss this with your medical practitioner or the Awakening Within Foundation. 

Welfare and Guidance

Awakening Within Foundation is committed to providing learners requiring additional support, advice or assistance whilst training. To achieve this, and to ensure quality delivery of training and education, Awakening Within can arrange various levels of counselling. Should you ever need to discuss these options with Awakening Within, you can be assured of full privacy and confidentiality.

Access and Equity

At ATA we maintain a policy for Access and Equity which covers equal opportunity and anti-discrimination. It is prohibited to discriminate against any person (staff or student) in regards to the following issues; age, physical appearance, gender, pregnancy, sexual preference, psychological situation, marital status or religion.

Conduct and Etiquette

Any learner enrolled at Awakening Within is expected to behave in a professional and dignified manner with regard to fellow learners, coaches and facilitators and all members of administration. A learner may be asked to discontinue their studies if in not complied with Awakening Within’s policies; not satisfied academic requirements or has been rude to fellow learners and facilitators.
